My Whirlpool dishwasher 2007 is 9 years old.
The soap dispenser became old and was no longer shutting.
So I ordered a new part and replaced it.
Now when I run a cycle when it get to the part where it the dispenser opens it makes a load noise.
The dispenser opens how it is supposed to but the noise is loud and scary.
Is the new part bad and need another replacement.
I have taken it out twice and put it back in hoping that the problem was it was not installed right.
It didn't help.
