Kenmore dishwasher, model number 587.14003100, that's functioning correctly in terms of cleaning dishes. However, I've encountered an issue where it makes a very loud whining and humming noise when water is sprayed out from the lower arm. To address this, I've already disassembled the lower assembly to check for any debris that might be causing the noise. I found no obstructions or debris in the assembly.
Despite this, the loud humming and whining noise persists whenever the dishwasher is in operation and water is being sprayed. This noise seems to be specifically associated with the water spray function, and it's concerning because it's not a normal sound for the dishwasher to make.
Could you provide any insights or suggestions on what might be causing this loud noise during the water spray cycle? Is there a particular component that I should inspect or a potential issue within the water spray mechanism that I might have overlooked?
