Can you give us information on the brand and model number? If you cannot, the most common reason a top load washer will not spin or drain is because the lid switch is either electrically or mechanically faulty. You can test it for continuity or simply open the lid on your washer and using a pencil, press on where the lid presses the switch and be sure you here a clicking sound. If not your lid switch is most likely bad and causing your NO SPIN issue.
