Whirlpool washer does not spin. Washer agitates but does not spin on any cycle. Motor is working and water pumping but no spin. Lid switch appears to work. Have replaced coupler and clutch. Washer started to spin but skate plate was out of place. Put that back in place and then washer did spin for a little bit but stopped spinning. Smelled a burning smell. What next? Is this a timer or a transmission issue or none of the above?
