What part is giving me the trouble? I have a whirlpool top loader washing machine. The model number is LBR4132HQ0.This is the only time this machine has given me any problems for over 10 years. It agitates then stops, nothing else happens it just stops agitating won’t spin or drain water out.
Replacing the LID SWITCH should fix your NO SPIN and NO DRAIN problem. Lid switches are available online and Amazon has mostly all Replacement Lid Switches For Top Load Washers. Your problem is fairly common when dealing with top load washers that do not spin. Have you checked the lid switch where it connects to the washer? It may be bent or not aligned properly. If you do have a misaligned lid switch you can realign it and see if that fixes the issue. If not the lid switch is most likely the problem and you can test it with a multi-meter to be sure. Most replacement lid switches are around 10 bucks. So ordering one and replacing it won’t set you back too much money. Good luck!
