My Whirlpool washing machine won't agitate or spin and is making a loud clicking noise when in spin cycle. What could be causing it? This happened after three breaker trips within 15 minutes of each other.
If it is tripping the breaker, and now it makes noises and does not complete cycles, there is something that may be binding up or other. A bearing, coupler, motor pulley, etc could be at fault. Take machine apart safely and visually inspect inside for obvious signs of damage. Does the washer work normally (besides no spin or agitate) and completes the cycle?
