Our Whirlpool washer works great. The only problem is when it is not running and we are not using it, it really stinks and is smelly like a moldy or like mold may be growing inside the washer. Is there a fix for this that maybe something I can add to the washer to make it not stink like mold? I see mold inside the large rubber ring (the seal) at the opening of my washer and it's hard to scrub off, even with bleach. My whole house stinks, is there parts that grow mold on a washer that I just can't get to? What do I take apart?

I had the same problem. I even replaced the door seal as I thought maybe mold was present. Affresh washer cleaner is specifically designed to help remove and prevent the residue that can accumulate in HE washers. It is great to use for killing and removing mold.
