Washer won’t do final spin, but will spin slowly during wash cycle

My washer is a Frigidaire Affinity purchased in 2007.  It won't spin during the final spin cycle, but will spin at the start of the wash cycle.  Since it does spin, it is not a broken belt or something like that.  It does pump the water out since the bowl is not full of water at the end of the cycle.  Sounds like a computer or sensor problem.  Frigidaire help line was of no help.
