We ran a load of clothing with the lid closed in our Whirlpool washer.
Thought it was finished and opened lid to washer full of water.
Tried to turn the cycle dial to start cycle over etc. and machine was unresponsive.
Unplugged it and plugged it back in to reset it and it worked.
This is the second time it has happened in as many weeks. Sounds like a switch is failing. Where do I start?
