We have Samsung sw75v9w top loader and when we do a full load (not overloaded) it does not spin or drain only get a clicking noise as something trying to turn over. May it be the coupling. It works if we half the load but we had done bigger loads in the past.

Have you checked lid switch? Do you hear the motor running but nothing is happening? Have you checked drain pump for foreign objects? Where is the clicking noise coming from? If the washer does not work properly with a full load then YES it is MOST LIKELY the motor coupler.
