I took out all the washing machine parts and checked. The spider is totally damaged, so I replaced with the new one. According to many research online, if the noise happens during the spinning, it might be the bearing problem. I checked the bearing, and there seems to be no problems. I do not find any water inside the bearing or the seal seems to be fine. I also checked the water pump by breaking into pieces to check any foreign pieces in the pump. The pump is also very clean.
One thing I notice about the existing bearing is that the middle part of the bearing goes very smooth and fast. The new bearing that I order, the middle part of the bearing is a little tighter. is it the problem and making the noise?
I do not think that the kind of noise is not because of the unbalance surface. It sounds like tumbling noise and when it goes to high speed, the tumbling noise seem to be eliminated. I already tried three times taking the parts apart and putting back on. Each time, the spinning speed seems to get slower and slower.
Please kindly advise what might cause the tumbling/humming noise?
