Hi, my Samsung DVE50M7450 was running but not drying. I cleaned the venting system and checked the thermal fuse (had continuity). Then I discovered the heating element was bad---overheated and snapped the coil. After replacing the element, now I get an error of HC (= high temperature check). (Note I do NOT get code tC, which would indicate the thermistor.) It seems like an important clue that it would run before with the bad element, but not now... but I can\'t figure out what it means! Thank you!
