Replacing Heating Element And Female Disconnect Broke
I am replacing the heating element for this Samsung dryer. The old element had a break in the coil. Replacement was going smoothly, but when I detached the existing male spade connectors from the female disconnect wire termination supplying power to the heating element, the female disconnect broke on one of the wires. I have been to multiple hardware stores and none sell a replacement female disconnect large enough to replace the broken one on the dryer wire. The largest female disconnect I can find is for 12-10 AWG and is a .250" Tab. I believe I need a 0.3125 or 5/16" Tab. Any advice on how to find this part would be appreciated.
