My new Ninja Blender has a power button that is flashing red. I have the blender on the motor base and the top of the blender is on and secure but the light keeps blinking / flashing. What do I do to make the light stop flashing so I can use my new Ninja blender?

The lid is not on the blender correctly. Be sure to align the arrow on the lid with the arrow on the handle. Align the arrow on the handle of the ninja to the arrow on the lid. Arrows align in the Bottom right corner, and the pour spout in the top left.
