We have a whirlpool washer model# wtw4800xq4.
Husband turned washer on filled with water then stopped.
Made clicking noise.
I got home fiddled with it and got it to drain.
Thought lid switch bad.
Got another put it on, now won't fill with lid down.
So opened lid and now filling.
I'm thinking it's still the lid switch.
Maybe the one we got was bad.
