My electric dryer stopped heating up so as I have done before.
I removed the heating element looking to replace it.
I checked with my local appliance parts supplier and before I bought a new one had it checked with an ohm meter and he said that it was fine.
He also checked the attached thermostat and it checked out fine also.
I inspected all the wires and noticed no scorched or burnt wires.
What is the next step in repairing or troubleshooting this dryer?
It is a very basic Whirlpool dryer about 5 or 6 years old.
