The washing machine stopped while draining and spinning. The water has drained out. Control panel seems fine. I have checked for clogs in hoses and the drain pump, none there. I have checked the inlet valves and they seem fine. The strange thing with them is that I get a continuity reading with a DMM in Ohm mode but cannot get an audible continuity reading. When we try to start the washer, the lid lock engages and there is a loud popping/clicking that seems to be coming from the area of the motor and transmission at the bottom of the tub.
