I am presently changing out the drain pump in my Maytag Washer LAT8714, that was quite easy. However, I noticed that motor assembly has about 1/2 inch of play, it slides back and forth in its track, and this is making the belts too loose. Is the motor supposed to move like that? How would I tighten up the motor so the belts would be tight?
