Maytag Neptune Series MDE5500AYQ dryer and I have a few questions regarding its type and functionality. Firstly, I'm unsure whether my dryer is an electric or a gas model. This confusion is partly due to the presence of a pipe connected to the back of the dryer, along with an air duct.
Additionally, I'm currently facing an issue where the dryer is not heating. Given the type of connections it has, could you provide guidance on whether my dryer is electric or gas? Also, depending on its type, what steps should I take to troubleshoot and resolve the heating issue?
