I currently have no heat in my dryer. It runs fine otherwise. I tested the high limit and cycling thermostats and the thermal fuse for continuity and that all checked out fine and timer switch is new. When testing the element itself is where im running into some confusion. Some resources indicate that readings of 10 ohm or more is good, while others say a range of 20 to 50 is optimal. I get a reading of around 11.7 ohms. For this model, is that in normal range or do I in fact have a faulty element? Also, if my element, timer, thermostats and fuse are all still good, what else should i be looking at in my troubleshooting? Thanks in advance.
