Maytag Dishwasher Making Grinding Noise

I have a 9 yr old Maytag dishwasher that makes the sound similar to your audio clip in "Dishwasher Making Loud Grinding Noise During Wash Cycle". This happens right at the start of the wash cycle. It cleans fine and drains as well. The Model# is MDB7601aws. The issue is I don't know how to access the rest of the motor or pumps. I'm not sure if the only way to get to it is from the bottom or if there is a catch. I don't see much caught in the mechanisms.
