Maytag Centennial Washer won’t complete cycle

I have a model MVWC400XW0 Maytag Centennial washer that will fill, agitate and rinse and then stops on spin.  The door lock light turns off and the spin light stays lit. I have to hold down the start button for three seconds to get the spin light off. I then have to turn the knob to spin/drain and start it up to get the water out.

I have the same problem Dan. Did you ever figure out what the problem was. I think it\\\\\\\'s the lid switch but I have been wrong once before.

Have you tried referencing Maytag's product help page? They have a page specifically directed to their washers (http://producthelp.maytag.com/Laundry/Washers). I would recommend reading through the troubleshooting guide.
