My lint screen is missing from my dryer, will that stop my dryer from working properly? The dryer dries clothes but I have to dry for hours.

Yes. Your dryer may tumble if it is missing the lint screen but may not heat, depending on your dryer model. Also, you may damage your dryer if you do not use the lint screen. Buy a replacement lint screen and see if that fixes your issue.
