My Kenmore washing machine is filling, but not agitating. There is just a low hum when the cycle should start. I tested the lid switch and think it needs to be replaced. Could other parts also be needed? Thanks
Replace the lid switch. This should be the only part you need to replace. However the motor should not be receiving power if the lid switch is bad. Is the humming sound coming from the motor or from the control panel?
