My Kenmore c45072 quit working. It locks, hums for a while, then beeps. There is no hot water, no cold water, changing settings doesn't make a difference. It will not spin either. A repairman diagnosed the problem as a faulty cold water inlet valve, but wouldn't it still do the spin cycle or fill with hot water? What could be the problem? I've tried the reset trick, but I don't think it worked. The hot and cold water hoses are clear and both have water. I am also visually impaired and have no useful vision.
