Kenmore top load from Australia made by Simpson. The machine washes but does not spin. There is no voltage to the motor during the spin cycle. There are two cables, black and yellow that are connected to the transformer coming from the timer. But there is no voltage during the cycle. I am writing from Venezuela. With a new timer (574-200-155) the problem continues. Timer or water level control? Can you please help me?

The lid switch works perfect; it starts and stops the machine when I open or close it. I am not sure if it works to rinse. I would have to check tonight and let you know tomorrow. The clock continues advancing in spite of not spinning.
Good evening. The washer drains the water but does no spin to rinse it. The clock continues until it reaches the end of the spin cycle but without spinning the drum. The synchonous motor is working properly. I would greatly appreciate your help to avoid throwing away this washer.

Have you tested the lid switch? Does the motor work to rinse? Please supply more info.
