My washer is a Hotpoint - Model HE8L 493 Serial Number 412048259-30884720000
My washer is only 4 months old. If I wash with detergent without clothes my washer will complete the whole cycle to the end. If I wash with detergent and clothes it stops after after the rinse cycle.

Load sensor is most likely bad. Also could be control board. You will need a multimeter to test sensor.
