I have a 16 year old GE Profile Side by Side that has been making what I would describe as a crashing sound as I assume the freezer cycles. I've seen some videos that point to dust and debris clogging components underneath, but don't see how that could be the cause.
The freezer goes between -3 and +3 degrees, which is pretty new.
