I have to replace the dishwasher door strike. This is in a rental unit, and the original strike is gone. I have the new part, and it appears to slide into the top of the washer, with one bolt/nut holding it place. Parts diagrams show it above support rails, but it appears to slide under them.
There is also an additional small square part that I can not see where it goes. Is there a more detailed schematic as to how the strike fits in the body of the dishwasher?
