Fridge – Internal Leak

Hello, I am a renter with a leaky 22 year old fridge. The leak is inside from the top freezer into the main cavity. My landlord flushed the freezer drain with hot water, we cleaned the fridge inside and out. The leak disappeared for 36 hours but reappeared. What do you suggest? I could let it thaw completely, but that would put my extensive frozen food collection at risk. Best, Kathy
