Disposal is an Insinkerator Badger. I am in a rental, no manual or known model number.I did not notice when my tea diffuser fell into my disposal. It had a small metal chain on it. After accidentally running the disposal, I got most of it out but there may have been some chain left.I cleared all debris, but when I run the disposal there is a humming.The blades still spin and i can easily rotate everything. I even took the disposal out of the sink to get a better look for any remaining debris. Still nothing, but the hum sounds like when everything is jammed. Is it a problem with the motor perhaps?
