The dryer only gets hot at its own will. Won\'t get hot for several weeks then will get hot for a few loads then stop again I have taken the dryer apart and cleaned everything - the lint trap, full exaust tube, the fan area, the exhaust line out the back to the wall and the wall to exterior vent. There is not a hint of lint or other buildup any longer. I thought this would fix it but no, still not getting hot. I replaced the thermal fuse about a year ago. I thought about doing that again but if it gets hot sometimes, then I thought that might not be the problem. Dryer is a Kenmore 70 series, model 100 72712101.
