Appliance Repair Questions Staff replied 8 years ago Pull your dryer away from the wall – take off the exhaust hose from the back of your dryer – run your dryer empty and see if it stays on longer and cycles on and off as it should. If it still doesn’t then your gas coil solenoids are bad.
