I have a fridge that stops cooling after a couple of days of operation, the compressor stops working and gets very hot.
After its left for cool down over night it works again in the morning ?? What could be the problem?
The most common reason for this is dirty condenser coils. Dirty coils can cause this to happen as it makes the compressor work extra hard to cool therefore overheating. Another issue could be that the relay that controls your compressor may be faulty and running the compressor too long. Also be sure the fridge is not too close to the wall so it has room to bleed off heat.
