I recently replaced the thermal fuse and thermostat on my Maytag PYE4558AYW dryer. That job went just fine and the dryer is functioning normally now - except it will not shut off when I open the door. I feel like the problem is the door switch, I'm just curious as to what I could have done wrong to cause this problem or if it was merely coincidence. Thanks in advance for your help!
