I have a front loading Kenmore, model 147.44152400. It will agitate and drain, but will not spin. There is just a humming sound. I did a master reset, but that did not help. Checked the belt, it's fine. Could there be a foreign object blocking the drum from turning? Where would I look for that?

Does the humming noise come from the motor, like it is trying to run but cannot? Usually a humming sound is from a bad capacitor. The capacitor is located on your motor and energizes it to run at faster speeds RPM. Some motors have dual capacitors for different speeds. Sounds to us that maybe one of the capacitors on the motor may have failed. A capacitor is around $10. If you have a multimeter you can test the capacitors on the motor and determine which is bad.
