Hi, I'm having a problem with my 20-year-old Whirlpool Dishwasher, model GU1200XTLB1. After a washing cycle, the drain pump continued running for an hour, and I noticed a burning electrical smell. I had to turn off the power at the breaker since the plug is behind a cabinet. It seems the pump should have stopped after draining all the water, but it didn't. I'm wondering where the sensor that signals the pump to stop is located. Is it part of the pump, or elsewhere? I can replace the pump, but I'm not sure if that's the real issue or if it's the sensor. Thanks for any advice you can give.
