WHAT’S WRONG WITH MY WASHER?

Appliance Repair QuestionsCategory: Washing MachinesWHAT’S WRONG WITH MY WASHER?

I have a Whirlpool front load washer (bought used - 2 yrs old but only used for one, then stored).  The last load of clothes I washed was on "delicate" cycle.  When I went to remove them from the washer they were still dripping wet.  I then put the machine to "drain & spin".  The drum did turn (I didn't stay to watch it) but not sure if it was rapid (normal spin).  I then noticed that the drain hose was leaking at the connection to house pipe not the machine (I believe this is new - not noticed prior). Any ideas? Thanks Dianne

The drain hose is leaking from the wall? Is there water all over the floor? If the hose is leaking from the wall then there is a massive blockage in the drain line not your washer.
