AFTER FIRST WASH, IT AGITATES WELL, WATER IS PUMPED OUT AND THEN MOTOR WILL NOT RUN AGAIN.. JUST RINSES AND PUMPS TILL TIMES OUT. NOTICED 6 FLASHES ON LED ON MOTOR, BUT MOTOR IS FREE... CAN TURN BY HAND. CAN UNPLUG RESET MOTOR , PUT IN QUICK RINSE AND WILL RINSE AND SPIN BUT SPINS ONLY ONE TIME AND RINSES AND PUMPS A COUPLE OF TIMES. CAN ALSO RESET AND PUT IN DRAIN AND SPIN AND ALL WORKS... REPLACED DIGITAL CONTROL BOARD IN PANEL...DIDN'T HELP. GE MODEL : WPRE6150K2WT... SERIAL# FT182177G

Are you getting an error code????

This is a tricky one as it could be as simple as a loose wire/fuse. Finding it if that's the case may take some time. So just to be sure about the wiring…

Ohm out all the wires from the control in coming L1 and L2 down to the motor and back up to the panel on the control side to see if all wires are intact. Some could be loose and working only here and there.

Also, ohm the mode shifter and check voltage to the motor control. There may be a fluctuation that is causing your issue.

Also, make sure you have 120 volts to the control on the white/red and red/black to the control. Confirm this since the fuse on the motor blowing is a known issue.

Also be sure that when the drain pump is running it shuts off when you open the lid. Doubt it is the lid switch but gotta check everything.

Also the number of times the motor LED flashes, means certain issues. Are you sure it flashes 6 times?
