My GE refrigerator is too cold

GE Fridge runs between 10-20 degrees too cold. The freezer is also way too cold. This GE fridge has a manual air damper so it's not that. Could this be the temperature control unit that is malfunctioning? That is the only part that I see a temp sensor connected to. Please help!

We recently had this exact same problem. It was the cold controller. It never turned off no matter how cold it got even at the lowest setting. We found out that this a common failure on GE refrigerators. See if you can find one on Amazon and if not try ebay.
