GE refrigerator ice maker not working

Andrew Mayes asked 11 months ago

I have a GE model PSS26LSRESS refrigerator. The water filter was going out and I lost a lot of water pressure to the external water dispenser for about a week before I got it replaced. And the ice maker stopped working. I assumed it was because of the water pressure. Now that I have the filter replaced, the external water pressure is great. However, the ice maker still doesn’t work. The teeth aren’t rotating and there’s ice in the tray. The green light blinks. I’ve restarted it several times, pushed on the teeth in case they were jammed, and unplugged the entire fridge. Considering thawing the entire freezer to see if that helps. Any suggestions other than buying a new ice maker assembly? Thanks
